Paul Baker’s passion for Social Security disability law is personal. The Harlan County native lost his father, a coal miner, when he was three years old, leaving his mother to raise him.
Patrick House’s interest in law – and particularly Social Security disability law – began in his teens. Attorney Paul Baker is his stepfather (his mother, Susie, is the law firm’s office manager), so school breaks involved helping out around the Paul Baker Law Office.
Like her stepbrother, attorney Patrick House, Jessica Baker finds law “a family affair.” She too developed an interest in Social Security disability law at a young age because of her father, attorney Paul Baker, and her mother, Susie Baker, the office manager of the Paul Baker Law Office.
Michael Goforth has known attorney Paul Baker for more than a quarter of a century. They had at least one class together at the University of Kentucky College of Law, where Goforth graduated in 1985.
Isaac Abner has been with the Paul Baker Law Office since 2014, when he was an unpaid intern from Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law in Newport. He commuted about three hours each way for the opportunity to work as an intern with the firm.
